PlantMasters has been in Bloom since the 1940's when Grandpa started the business in the Mt Clemens Area. As the business BLOOMED so did the customers, we became the sole supplier to Franks Nurseries, 50+ stores as well as other Greenhouses through out Michigan and Northern Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. In the 80's Grandpa retired and his Son and Daughter in law took over the business. In 1989 PlantMasters was moved "Up North" greenhouse by greenhouse - following its roots, (Edmonds Daughter in law, was from the Cedar area) and opened in Suttons Bay as a retail Garden Center.

Twenty - One years later, the third and fourth generations are working on "taking over the farm." We have since left the wholesale business and are GROWERS ONLY FOR YOU!! Although, the world and the greenhouse business has changed since the 1940's, we still Grow our Own Plants the OLD FASHION WAY, we use only quality potting soils (BACCTO) and fertilizers (JACKS CLASSICS) and absolutely no growth regulators. Most everything we sell is grown right here... That makes a big difference. Its good for the plant (no shock from shipping, individual care), thats good for the Environment (reduces shipping pollution) and good for the local economy.
